Charity 5K Run @ Long Reach High School in Columbia

LIGHTNING FLASH 5K Saturday, September 21st

Mommy Trot- 8:30am   5K- 9:00am

The Long Reach High School field hockey team is hosting a 5K run/walk and a
Mommy Trot. The Mommy Trot and 5K run/walk will start and end on the Long Reach track. Race day sign up is accepted.

Registrations submitted AFTER September 6 will have a $15 fee.

Mommy Trot: We
invite parents and children 5 years and under to
participate in the Mommy Trot. This fun run/walk will start on the track. Participants will complete one lap. All Mommy Trot participants will receive a prize. 

There is no registration fee for those who are only
participating in the Mommy Trot. If doing the 5K and Mommy Trot, the
registration fee is required.

After Race Celebration: After the race we invite you to come by

Eggpsectations Restaurant in Ellicott City. Proceeds will benefit Scott’s Hope. The fun begins at 11:00 and will last until 7:00. Come by and relax with some good food and good company!

Prizes

5K run/walk
The top 3 male finishers and top 3 female finishers

will receive a prize. Prizes include gift cards and gift baskets.

Mommy Trot
All Mommy Trot participants will receive a prize.

PROCEEDS: This year we are pleased to

announce that all proceeds from the 5K will benefit the National MS Society,
specifically Scott's Hope. In their fight for discovering a cure, the Maryland Chapter is able to assist local residents affected with MS through various

programs & financial aide. Your race contribution will put us one step

closer to finding a cure!
