Election Day is Tuesday: Find Your Howard County Polling Place Here

Voters can view sample ballots online before going to the nearest polling location.

In case you missed the memo and all the campaign signs hanging around Howard County, Tuesday is Maryland’s Primary Election Day. Voters in Howard County will be picking their favorites for state offices and county offices.

Statewide elections include:

  • Governor/Lt. Governor
  • Comptroller
  • Attorney General

Offices for Howard County are:

  • Representative in Congress, Congressional District 7
  • State Senator, Legislative District 9
  • House of Delegates, Legislative District 9B
  • County Executive
  • County Council, Councilmanic District 1
  • State’s Attorney
  • Clerk of the Circuit Court
  • Register of Wills
  • Judge of the Orphans’ Court
  • Sheriff
  • Democratic Central Committee
  • Board of Education

Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. across the state. But the Maryland Board of Elections encourages citizens to vote sometime between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to avoid delays.
