Wet Week Ahead in Columbia

Here's a look at the week's forecast, courtesy of the National Weather Service.

Keep an umbrella handy this week as the National Weather Service is predicting a chance of showers through Wednesday. 

Monday, temperatures should reach about 60 degrees. Expect rain all day, possibly three quarters of an inch by day’s end. There’s a 50 percent chance that rain will continue into the night when temperatures drop to the low-50s.

There’s a 30 percent chance of rain on Tuesday, and temperatures are expected to hit the low-60s. Tuesday night there’s also a 30 percent chance of rain and temperatures will drop to the low-50s.

A slight chance of rain remains Wednesday, when temperatures reach the mid-60s. Wednesday night should be dry, with temperatures in the mid-40s.

Welcome the sun Thursday, with temperatures in the mid-60s, dropping to the mid-40s at night.

Just in time for the weekend, Friday should be mostly sunny with temperatures in the high-60s during the day, dropping to the low 40s at night.
