Weekend Weather: Clear for 2012 Perseid Meteor Shower

But the skies aren't expected to clear up just yet.

The rain isn't going away any time soon, but the skies should clear up when it matters, if you're interested in seeing the weekend's big sky show.

According to the National Weather Service, rain is expected to continue through Friday night. Temperatures should hover in the mid-80s during the day and drop to about 70 degrees at night.
