Columbia residents Michael P. Bucci (High Honors), Steven R. Hein (Honors), Richard A. LaSota (Honors), Nicholai E. Wingreen (Highest Honors) and Chelsea W. Watkins (High Honors) have been named to the McDaniel College Dean's List for the fall semester, according to a statement from readMedia Newswire.

Students must earn a semester grade-point average of 3.9 or above for Highest Honors designations; 3.7 to 3.89 for High Honors; and 3.5 to 3.69 for Honors.

Meeting You Don't Want to Miss Tonight:

The Columbia Association Board’s Planning & Strategy Committee will hold a public work session on the draft Aquatics Master Plan at 7 p.m. tonight at Claret Hall in the River Hill Village Center.

Following a presentation on the highlights of the plan, community members can ask questions or comment on the recommendations.

The Aquatics Master Plan is a long-term plan for CA's aquatics facilities. The plan’s development is in the final phase of a three-phase process.

Following the review of the draft plan by the CA Board and the community at this meeting, the master plan will be finalized.
