A tip of the hat goes to Quincy, a fourth-grader at . At Tuesday night's on school redistricting, Quincy spoke passionately and eloquently about his desire to stay at Atholton, a school he has attended since he was 2, for his final year of elementary school.
I'm always in awe of young people who have the confidence to get up in front of a large audience of mostly adults and deliver well-written and knowledgeable messages about complicated concepts such as redistricting.

Quincy delivered a speech to school board members that spelled out his desire to stay in the school he has attended for the bulk of his young life. He asked the board to reconsider a plan that would see him going to a different school for fifth grade.
Congratulations, Quincy! Nice job!
