Today in Columbia: Howard County School Board to Vote on Redistricting Proposal

The Weather:

"Showers likely, mainly before noon. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 44. Northwest wind between 10 and 14 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible. Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 29. Meeting Tonight:

The Board of Education will meet at 7:30 p.m. tonight at its headquarters, 10910 Route 108 in Ellicott City.

Members are scheduled to vote on the redistricting proposal that will affect as many as 1,220 students in 10 elementary schools.
