Temperatures Rising in Columbia this Week

Here's a look at the week's forecast courtesy of the National Weather Service.

Temperatures will start out chilly this week, according to the National Weather Service, but a steady increase in temperatures will mean near-summer weather by the end of the week. 

Temperatures will reach the high-50s Monday. Expect cloudy skies and sprinkles later in the afternoon. Monday night we’ll see more sprinkles and chilly temperatures in the high-30s. 

Sunshine is in Tuesday’s forecast, and high temperatures in the mid-60s. Skies will become partly cloudy Tuesday night, and temperatures will drop to the high-40s.

Expect highs in the low-70s Wednesday under partly sunny skies. There is a 30 percent chance of showers Wednesday night, otherwise, expect cloudy skies and temperatures in the high-50s.

Temperatures will continue to climb, reaching the low-80s Thursday. Skies will be partly sunny during the day and mostly cloudy at night, when temperatures drop to the high-50s.

On Friday there is a 40 percent chance of rain, otherwise, skies will stay mostly sunny and temperatures will reach the high-70s, dropping to the high-50s at night.

We’ll start the weekend with summer-like weather: Expect mostly sunny skies Saturday with temperatures in the low-80s.
