Still No Spring in Columbia

Here's the week's forecast courtesy of the National Weather Service.

 

Rita’s is open and I’m sure I saw some flowers blooming this weekend, but still, we have to worry about snow

The National Weather Service is forecasting some snow and sleet until about 2 p.m. Monday, turning to rain later in the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to hit 40 degrees, so NWS does not expect accumulation, but still. Snow.

The rain will continue into Monday night, when temperatures drop to the high- 30s.

Rain will keep falling Tuesday morning. Temperatures will rise to the low-50s with gusty winds, as fast as 31 mph at times. Tuesday night will be windy too, with temperatures dropping to the high-20s.

Wednesday will be partly sunny, but no rain, with temperatures in the mid-40s. Winds will continue, though, gusting as fast as 28 mph. Temperatures will drop to the high-20s at night. 

Thursday should be mostly sunny, with a high in the low-40s, dropping to the high-20s at night.

Friday looks mostly sunny with temperatures in the high-40s, dropping to the low-30s at night.
