'Mortgage Late? Don't Wait!' Foreclosure Workshop Saturday in Columbia

Get advice from experts at this event geared towards those who are having trouble paying their mortgage.

Homeowners facing an unmanageable mortgage will have the opportunity to meet with their lender, housing counselors and/or pro-bono attorneys Saturday at an event in Columbia.

The foreclosure prevention workshop, called "Mortgage Late? Don’t Wait!,” is put on by The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, mortgage giant Freddie Mac and Howard County Housing. It will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the , 10207 Wincopin Circle.

Attendees wishing to meet with a pro-bono attorney must pre-register to guarantee a free legal consultation.
