The following cooling centers are available for residents July 4th in Howard County, according to this list distributed by Howard County Government.

8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Bain Center, 5470 Ruth Keeton Way, Columbia
8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Ellicott City Senior Center, 9401 Frederick Road, Ellicott City
8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• West Friendship Volunteer Fire Station – Cooling Center and Showers
(bring your own towels and toiletries) 12535 Old Frederick Road, West
Friendship
5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Lisbon Volunteer Fire Department - Cooling Center and for Restroom
