Hail, Flooding and Gusty Winds: Hazardous Weather in Howard County
Thunderstorms predicted for Thursday evening and possible flooding on Friday.
National Weather Service (NWS) predicts wet, hazardous weather Thursday evening for much of central Maryland, including Montgomery, Howard, Carroll, Frederick and Washington counties.
Howard County could see scattered thunderstorms tonight, July 7, along with the possibility of damaging wind gusts and large hail.
Looking ahead to Friday, a flash flood watch has been issued for much of Maryland, including Howard County.

Temperatures will drop to the high 60s by Friday evening, according to NWS. Thunderstorms accompanied by more than two inches of rain are expected to begin midday and continue into the night.
