Columbia's 'Dia de la Familia' Celebration Honors Hispanic Heritage

The family celebration hosted by the Columbia Association will honor Hispanic heritage with food, fun and a salsa competition.

The family-oriented event is hosted by the and honors Hispanic Heritage Month. It also aims to promote the Columbia Association’s Welcome Initiative—a program that helps residents learn about and become more involved in their community.

This year’s event features include music, activities, entertainment and free food, as well as the annual salsa dance competition judged by Marielle Pabon of That’s Dancing studio. This year there will also be a new children’s crafts table and Zumba demonstration.

The event is free and will run from noon to 3 p.m.
