Choose Civility Symposium to Look at Political Feuds

The Howard County Library System is gearing up for another Choose Civility symposium on Oct. 11, and panelists will be paying particular attention to campaign rhetoric leading up to the presidential election in November.

Korva Coleman, a journalist for National Public Radio, will again be moderating the symposium that will feature author, Newsweek contributing editor and CNN contributor David Frum, The Baltimore Sun editorial editor Andrew Green, and Henry Alford, author of Would It Kill You to Stop Doing That?: A Modern Guide to Manners.

The community is invited to join the discussion at the Miller Branch Library in Ellicott City, on Oct. 11 from 6:15 to 9:30 p.m.
