Call for poets for Poets and Painters show at Artists' Gallery in Columbia
Artists' Gallery in Columbia invites local poets to participate in third Poets and Painters show during Feb, and Mar. 2013.
The Artists’ Gallery in Columbia looks forward to another great collaboration between the visual and literary arts when it host its third “Poets and Painters” show, featuring artwork by gallery members paired with poems by local area poets. The exhibit runs from February 4 – March 29, 2013 with an opening reception and poetry reading on Friday, February 8 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m., at which participating poets will have an opportunity to read their exhibited work.
Poets interested in participating can visit the Artists’ Gallery website: www.artistsgallerycolumbia.com under the heading Poets and Painters Show to view artwork in search of poems for poets to consider. We will post additional images as artists submit them.
Deadline for poets is Jan 11, 2013.
