Celebrate Columbia’s 46th Birthday With Party and Fun Events on June 21 at the Downtown Columbia Lakefront
Columbia is celebrating its 46th birthday this year, and all are invited to come to the birthday party.
Columbia is celebrating its 46th birthday this year, and all are invited to come to the birthday party, which is being held on Friday, June 21, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Downtown Columbia Lakefront.
The party will include children’s activities such as games, face painting and a balloon sculptor. The event also features the annual Umbrella Art Exhibit, with original art made from large golf umbrellas. Other activities include:

And all are welcome to remain at the Lakefront afterward for a free outdoor showing of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two,” which is rated PG-13 and will begin at dusk. The movie is part of Columbia’s annual Lakefront Summer Festival, which includes free concerts and movies throughout the summer.
