Teens can take to the slopes on Tuesday, Jan. 22, when Columbia Association’s (CA) Camps Department hosts a skiing and snowboarding trip to the Wisp Resort in Deep Creek in Western Maryland. Schools are closed that day, so send your teens away.

The trip is open to youth between the ages of 12 and 18. The cost is $75 for CA residents and $85 for non-residents and includes transportation, admission to the park, equipment rental, small-group instruction and dinner. Participants will need to bring a bag lunch.

The group will depart at 8 a.m. from the Youth and Teen Center @ The Barn, which is located at 5853 Robert Oliver Place in the Oakland Mills Village Center, and will return at 9 p.m. to the same location.

All skill levels are welcome, but space is limited to 10 participants. Register by calling 410-715-3165 or emailing Camps@ColumbiaAssociation.org. For more information, contact Brittany Dunbar at Brittany.Dunbar@ColumbiaAssociation.org or 410-715-3165.
