Talented Performers Between 7 and 13 Invited to Audition for Columbia Association’s Starlicious Talent Show

The second annual Starlicious Talent Show will give kids from Howard County between the ages of 7 and 13 the chance to find their inner superstar and to shine in front of their friends and family.

The event, hosted by Columbia Association’s (CA) KidSpace, will allow youth to show their stuff, whether they are singers, dancers, musicians or have other talents, including hand clapping/feet stomping, extreme hula hooping, double-dutch jump roping, gymnastics, native dance, and collaborative performances such as bands, singing groups and dancing groups.

Auditions are being held at CA’s KidSpace locations on the dates below.

  • Thursday, Jan. 9, from 5 to 6 p.m. at Supreme Sports Club (7080 Deepage Drive, 410-381-7559).

  • Friday, Jan. 10, from 5 to 6 p.m. at Columbia Athletic Club (5435 Beaverkill Road, 410-730-6755).

  • Saturday, Jan. 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Columbia Gym (6151 Daylong Lane, 410-531-8984).

  • Space is limited, so contestants must pre-register now through Jan. 8 at one of the above KidSpace locations.

    Up to 20 finalists will then be showcased at the Starlicious Talent Show on Friday, Feb. 7, at 6 p.m. at Columbia Gym’s Youth Arena. Talents who make it to the finale will receive the ultimate red carpet treatment and a “Hollywood swag bag” filled with awesome gifts.

    The Starlicious Talent Show will be an evening featuring the best young talents in Howard County and will also include several special features, such as a halftime show, “Hollywood swag bag” giveaways, door prizes, a Fan Club merchandise booth, a VIP booth, a red carpet photoshoot, concession stands and more.

    Tickets can be purchased in advance at the KidSpace locations or at the door. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for kids and $25 for a family of four.
