Enjoy Family Fun Nearly Every Weekend with Events at Columbia Association’s KidSpace Locations

There’s lot of family fun this fall and winter at Columbia Association’s (CA) three KidSpace locations, with events scheduled for nearly every remaining weekend in 2013.

KidSpace is an interactive play area within CA’s fitness facilities: Columbia Athletic Club (5435 Beaverkill Road in Columbia, 410-730-6755), Columbia Gym (6151 Daylong Lane in Clarksville, 410-531-8984) and Supreme Sports Club (7080 Deepage Drive in Columbia, 410-381-7559).

  • Family Sock Hop, for all ages. Saturday, Sept. 21, 5-7 p.m., Columbia Gym. Families can come shake, rattle and roll. Dress up in your finest ‘50s gear to enter the costume contest, learn ‘50s line dances, have fun in the talent show, win great prizes and more. Prices vary depending on membership/resident status.

  • Dad & Daughter Date Night, grades K-6. Friday, Sept. 27, 7-8:30 p.m, Supreme Sports Club. Prices vary.

  • Family Fun Friday, for all ages. Friday, Oct. 4, 6-9 p.m., at all three KidSpace locations. Free admission.

  • Movie Night Series, ages 4 and up (kids can dress up for weekly themes). Saturdays, 6-9 p.m., at the following locations: Oct. 5 at Supreme Sports Club, Oct. 12 at Columbia Athletic Club and Oct. 19 at Columbia Gym. Prices vary.

  • Monster Mash, for all ages. Friday, Oct. 11, 6-8 p.m., Supreme Sports Club. Prices vary.

  • Fall Hobby & Craft Fair, for all ages. Saturday, Oct. 19, 9 a.m.-noon, Columbia Gym. Free admission. Relax and shop for original handcrafted items by local artists and crafters, with more than 30 vendors selling products for all. While you shop, your children can enjoy up to two hours at KidSpace. The service is free for KidSpace members and $8 per child for non-members. Register at KidSpaceCraftFair.Eventbrite.com and be enterered into a prize drawing, or register by calling 410-531-8984.

  • Boo Bash, for all ages. Friday, Oct. 25, 5-6:30 p.m. at Columbia Athletic Club; and Saturday, Oct. 26, 10-11:30 a.m. at Columbia Gym. Prices vary.

  • Movie Night Series, ages 4 and up (kids can dress up for weekly themes). Saturdays, 6-9 p.m., at the following locations: Nov. 2 at Supreme Sports Club, Nov. 9 at Columbia Athletic Club, Nov. 16 at Columbia Gym, Dec. 7 at Supreme Sports Club, Dec. 14 at Columbia Athletic Club and Dec. 21 at Columbia Gym. Prices vary.

  • Mom & Son Sports Night, grades K-6. Friday, Nov. 15, 7-8:30 p.m., Columbia Athletic Club. Prices vary.

  • Breakfast with Santa, for all ages. Saturday, Dec. 14, 9:30-11 a.m., Columbia Athletic Club and Supreme Sports Club. Prices vary.

  • Holiday Breakfast, for all ages. Saturday, Dec. 14, 9:30-11 a.m., Columbia Gym. Prices vary.
