TRICOLUMBIA ANNOUNCES CHOPTANK BRIDGE SWIM

Announcing TriColumbia’s Newest Event! The Inaugural Choptank Bridge Swim in Cambridge, MD on Saturday, May 10, 2014

Columbia, Md. – TriColumbia, the Mid-Atlantic’s premier endurance event production company, is excited to announce the inaugural Choptank Bridge Swim, a two-distance endurance open water  swim on Saturday, May 10, 2014, in the Choptank River, the largest river on the Delmarva Peninsula. This open water swim event in Cambridge, Md. consists of a 1.6 mile swim and a 3.6 mile swim along the scenic banks of the Choptank River, and between the Choptank River Bridge and the Choptank River Fishing Pier that sits next to it.

“We are thrilled for the opportunity to offer such a unique and exciting event on Maryland’s scenic Eastern shore in Cambridge,” said LJ White, Executive Director at TriColumbia. “Our Choptank Bridge Swim will be staged adjacent to the beautiful Great Marsh Park where our world-renowned EnduraFit IRONMAN 70.3 EagleMan Triathlon takes place in June. This event will offer endurance swimmers a beautiful swim in an equally beautiful venue, and provide a unique training opportunity for IRONMAN EagleMan entrants to become more familiar with the Choptank River.”
