Northrop Team of Long & Foster Ranked First in Maryland, Second in Nation

The Creig Northrop Team of Long & Foster Real Estate is ranked first in Maryland and second in the nation based on transactional volume in 2013, according to REAL Trends, which provides statistical analysis for the residential real estate industry. The Northrop Team also ranked sixth in the survey based on the number of closed transaction sides in 2013. The ranking program was developed jointly by The Wall Street Journal and REAL Trends.
“We are proud to rank first in Maryland for the fourth year in a row by REAL Trends, the most trusted source in the industry,” said Creig Northrop, president of the Northrop Team. “Our volume illustrates the number of people who trust us with their homes, an honor we take seriously and will continue to earn.”
The Northrop Team’s ranking is part of REAL Trends 1000, an annual ranking of America’s top real estate professionals. REAL Trends, Inc. compiles rankings for the Top Thousand based on surveys of previous applicants, as well as 900 of the largest US brokerage firms. An independent third party verifies all submissions, and staff from REAL Trends also reviews these submissions for accuracy. Now in its 8th year, the Top Thousand features four total lists, the top 250 individual sales agents by sales volume and transaction sides, as well as the top 250 teams by sales volume and transaction side.
