Neighbor Ride’s Board of Directors has elected new officers and Board members for FY2014. Phyllis Madachy, the Coordinating Center, was elected President; Andy Carmer, SunTrust Bank, was elected Vice President and Barbara Greenfeld, retired-Howard Community College was elected Secretary. Bill Howard, 1st Mariner Bank, will continue to serve as Treasurer. Laurie Reuben, Cheshire Consulting Group LLC, has been named President Emeritus.

Neighbor Ride is a volunteer-based nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the health and quality of life for Howard County’s older residents by providing affordable transportation for health care appointments, cultural and social activities, religious services, shopping and other personal needs. Neighbor Ride offers this service so seniors, age 60 and over, can remain active, independent and connected to the community.
