Cresa's New Baltimore Office Is Expanding, Has Completed Well Over 1 Million Square Feet Of Deals To Date

BALTIMORE, MD (October 16, 2013) – In May 2012, Cresa opened its Baltimore office, reflecting the national corporate real estate advisory firm’s commitment to that market, where it has negotiated on behalf of tenants for many years but did not have an on-the-ground presence.

Fast-forward to today, Cresa Baltimore, led by Senior Vice President Scott Wingrat, has surpassed expectations and looks to further expand its reach.

Since the office’s opening, Wingrat and his colleagues have executed deals totaling well over 1 million square feet for a wide range of businesses and organizations from local companies to Fortune 500 firms.

Cresa Baltimore’s ongoing pipeline is strong, with its brokers currently representing an array tenants whose collective space requirements reach into the hundreds of thousands of square feet.

As a result of the high demand for its tenant-only advisory services, Cresa Baltimore, located at 509 S. Exeter St., is actively looking to bring on board additional talented professionals, both in the near term and over the long haul.

“The success that we’ve had over the past year-plus is quite encouraging, and I’m confident that this positive momentum will continue on for the remainder of 2013 and well into the future,” Wingrat says. “Cresa is the only tenant representation firm with an office in the bustling Harbor East neighborhood, which is important from a recruiting standpoint, and it also shows our existing and prospective clients that we’re extremely credible in providing them with conflict-free insight.”

Transactions recently completed by Cresa Baltimore include:
•Direct Energy US Home Services signed a 14,100-square-foot lease with Merritt Properties at 7484 Candlewood Road. It is relocating from its current office and warehouse space in Hanover, Md.

•FLIR Government Systems inked an 80,000-square-foot lease relocation for engineering, manufacturing and warehouse space at 7055 Troy Hill Drive in Elkridge.
