Laurel, MD. December 6, 2013. A NEW Quality Training program designed specifically for youth ages 13 to 17 is now available. Athletic Performance Training (A.P.T.) program, presented by Exclusive Results’ fitness company, is designed to improve athletic performance and lead each trainee to his or her maximum level of performance in all areas of sports and fitness. Exclusive Results specializes in advanced health including: sports and athletic training, weight management, personal fitness, wellness and nutrition. This program will focus on skill improvement, support and team-building skills!

The question of whether young athletes should specialize in particular sports at an early age has been asked for years. Evidence now supports programming activities that develop overall capacities rather than specialized functions while the athlete is growing.  All sports require a high degree of skill for superior performance.

On Saturday, January 18, 2014, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Exclusive Results presents A.P.T.’s first clinic, SPEED and AGILITY. At the clinic’s completion, each trainee should have at least a 15% performance improvement in all measurable areas of speed and agility.  A.P.T.’s first clinic will take place at PowerUp Sports & Training facility (PST). With 24,000 square feet of space, PST, located in Laurel, MD, is committed to providing a foundation for success in sports, health and life. This is an 8-week clinic scheduled to take place every Saturday beginning January 18, 2014.

The A.P.T. program will also feature celebrity guests, including former Redskins cornerback Byron Westbrook and former Kansas City Royals baseball player Gerard Hall Jr.
