Renderings Detail Nine-Story $65 Million Downtown Columbia Building

Take a look at over a dozen renderings and drawings detailing Little Patuxent Square.

The plan to develop a vacant lot at the corner of Little Patuxent Parkway and Wincopin Circle into a nine-story $65 million residential, commercial and office building was approved by the planning board on Jan. 2.

Renderings released along with the building's approval show two towers, one encased in glass for office space and another that primarily holds residential space.

The developer, Costello Construction Inc., plans to construct 160 residential units, 10,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor, and 120,000 square feet of office space in the building, which is being called Little Patuxent Square. The parking garage is planned to include 534 spaces, according to testimony at a public hearing on Jan. 2. The building is estimated to be about 380,000 square feet.
