The Giant on Centre Park Drive hosted a Baltimore Ravens pep rally Friday when the Purple Friday caravan stopped by.
More than 200 Baltimore Ravens fans crowded the Centre Park Drive Giant grocery store Friday when the Purple Friday Caravan visited and held a pep rally, complete with members of the Baltimore Marching Ravens band.
Fans enjoyed free hot dogs and sodas and performances by the band and cheerleaders and had the chance to win several prizes in a free raffle drawing.
Several Giant gift cards and canvas Ravens photographs were raffled off, but the grand prize of tickets to Sunday's American Football Conference championship game in New England was won by Jeffers Hill Elementary School teachers Wendy Strawhorn and Drew DiMaggio.
