The Mall in Columbia is a community gathering place that represents family and togetherness. On behalf of GGP and the Mall in Columbia, we offer our heart-felt condolences as you grieve and begin to heal following Saturday's tragedy. We will forever remember Brianna Benlolo and Tyler Johnson and keep their families and loved ones in our thoughts and prayers, as well las our friends at Zumiez.

Columbia, Maryland, is rooted in an enhanced quality of life and values that represent unity and peace. The community has shown amazing strength and spirit through this tragedy and we are committed to reinforcing that same sense of well-being and community when the mall reopens.

The extraordinary partnership from the Howard County Police Department, Howard County Executive Ken Ulman, first responders and an outpouring of support from the community exemplifies the kindness, dedication and resilience of the great city of Columbia and the greater Baltimore area.

It has always been our first priority to ensure the safety and well-being of our shoppers, retailers and employees. That resolve will not change.

I'm forever grateful,

Sandeep Mathrani

CEO

General Growth Properties Inc.
