Howard Community College Presents Vino Scholastico, an Elegant Wine Tasting to Raise Funds for HCC Student Scholarships 

An exceptional tasting of distinctive wines including hors d’oeuvres, desserts, live entertainment and a wine ordering discount

 The Howard Community College Educational Foundation, Inc. (HCCEF), Decanter Fine Wines and The Wine Seller present Vino Scholastico, an exceptional tasting of distinctive wines to raise funds for HCC student scholarships, on Friday, April 29, 2011 from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. on the fourth floor of The Rouse Company Foundation Student Services Hall (RCF) on the HCC campus. Proceeds benefit the HCCEF Scholarship Endowment Fund.

In addition to tasting fine wines, guests can enjoy gourmet hors d'oeuvres, desserts, and discount prices for on-site ordering of favorite samples. Tickets are $75 per person and on sale atwww.howardcc.edu/vino or by phone at 443-518-1970. 

“The Wonderful World of Oz,” a component tasting with certified wine educator Lisa Airey, precedes Vino Scholastico from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Kittleman Room of HCC’s Duncan Hall (DH-100). Guests will discover the fun and fascinating world of Australian wines and get the "dirt" on the unique characteristics of wines down under!

Tickets for “The Wonderful World of Oz” are $50 per person. Combination tickets to both events are available for $100 per person.
