Help save the Bay. We're all in this together!

The Howard County Watershed Stewards Academy (HoCoWSA) is currently recruiting for the class of 2014. An Information Night will be held Tuesday, January 7th, 7:00 pm at the  *University of Maryland Extension offices in Ellicott City. 
NOTE: The enrollment deadline is January 15, 2014.
If you are passionate about the environment, learn how to design, build and consult on projects for the reduction of sediment, nitrogen, phosphorus and bacteria, and how to decrease grease, trash, pesticides and metals polluting The Chesapeake Bay.
Learn all and more you believed imaginable about storm water runoff, from rooftops, roads, driveways and parking lots, flowing into our counties streams and rivers. 
Gain first hand knowledge and engage with a diverse core of esteemed lecturers, over a 15 week period from February 7th to May 2, 2014. Classes are scheduled every Friday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.  

Join the movement. Become a leader and learn to solve pollution problems through  field trips and a class installation project in May. The class is limited to 20 adults.

 *Classes are held at: The University of Maryland Extension Howard County, 3300 N. Ridge Road, Suite 240, Ellicott City, MD.
