Severe Thunderstorms Move Over Howard County

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm statement for Howard County at 10:01 p.m.

The National Weather Service issued a severe weather statement, predicting strong thunderstorms and heavy rain around 10 p.m., the rain began to fall around 10:10 p.m., coming down heavily, with thunder and lightning.

The storm comes on the heels of another thunderstorm that struck parts of Maryland on Wednesday and left hundreds without power. Rain and scattered tunderstorms are predicted throughout the day on Friday, according to NWS.
