MUSIC AT THE MUSEUM CONCERT SERIES: Marc Douglas Berardo

The Howard County Historical Society invites you to enjoy  an evening of music and munchies at our Museum located in the old stone church next to the Howard County Courthouse.....featuring Marc Douglas Berardo....

Marc Douglas Berardo is the kind of hard working, fast moving, adventure seeking, keen observer who lives for the story and the song. In what amounts to song length works of fiction, Berardo’s sharply drawn portraits cast a net on unusual and beguiling characters and places. He does this “simply and well” with what Rambles Cultural Magazine calls: “careful images and great tunes.”

Berardo’s latest CD, entitled “DownHauler” includes songs that have been recognized in several national song contests including The Telluride Troubadour Contest (CO), Rocky Mountain Folks Festival (CO) and The Dave Carter Memorial Song Contest at The Sister’s Folk Festival (OR). In 2012 Berardo was nominated as “Best Male Vocalist” in Motif Magazine’s year end poll, as well as landing on the Top Ten DJ’s Pick- XM Radio/ Sirius station The Village.

Tickets are $18 for HCHS members, $20 for the general public. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the HCHS. Light refreshments will be served. Feel free to bring an appetizer or dessert to share. Doors open at 7:00pm and the concert starts at 8:00pm. Hope to see you there!
