  • Description:  Howard Community College’s (HCC) Arts Collective (AC) proudly announces its spring production of Craig Lucas’ “Prelude to a Kiss,” running May 3 to 19, 2013, in the college's Studio Theatre.

5K Hope for the Homeless

  • Description:  Locals are invited to meet vendors in the health care industry and learn about health and wellness.

Tequila & BBQ

  • Where:  2700 Turf Valley Rd., Ellicott City
  • When:  Saturday, May 4 – Sunday, May 5, 5 p.m.
  • Description:  New menu with a New Mexico/American fusion twist in celebration of the Kentucky Derby and Cinco de Mayo.

Maryland Tour de Cure

  • Where:  2400 Route 97, Cooksville
  • When:  Saturday, May 4, 7:15 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Description:  Participants are invited to bike through Howard, Carroll and Montgomery Counties, enjoy refreshments, libations, a live band, health and wellness information and entertainment for all ages.  Proceeds will raise awareness and funds to support the American Diabetics Association.
  • Cost: $25

40th Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival

  • Where:  2210 Fairgrounds Rd, West Friendship
  • When:  Saturday, May 4, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., Sunday, May, 5, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Description:  A fun-filled weekend of live animals, crafts and supplies, entertainment and more.
  • Cost:  Free (Donations appreciated)
