Several Counties Under Winter Weather Advisory

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory Tuesday.

Snow falling across the region will likely continue through 2 p.m. and could amount to 1 to 3 inches, according to the National Weather Service.

The weather service issued a winter weather advisory for Howard, Montgomery, Prince George's and Anne Arundel counties until 2 p.m., stating that roads may be slick.

A winter weather advisory means that periods of snow may make travel difficult, due to snow-covered roads and limited visibilities.
