Michael Symon to Stop at Columbia Wegmans in September
The celebrity chef is scheduled to appear on Sept. 9 at Wegmans in Columbia.
Midwestern chef Michael Symon will be the latest celebrity guest to appear at Columbia's Wegmans.
Symon, an award-winning chef who operates restaurants in Cleveland and Detriot, is featured on Food Network shows such as Iron Chef America and Food Feuds.

He’ll be promoting his new cooking book Michael Symon’s 5 in 5: 5 Fresh Ingredients + 5 Minutes = 120 Fantastic Dinners.
The event is scheduled for Sept. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Columbia Wegmans, 8855 McGaw Rd., Columbia.

In order to attend you must purchase a copy of Symon’s book, which is priced at $14.
The second-floor event space at Wegmans has now hosted celebrities such as chef Bobby Flay and Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice. Wegmans built the space intending for it to be a liquor store, but that plan was voted down by the alcoholic beverage hearing board last year.
