Clyde's 10K and Columbia Cleanup This Weekend

Clyde's 10K

The 35th annual Clyde's 10k will take place in Columbia on Sunday. The race is scheduled to start at 8:15 a.m. on Little Patuxent Parkway in Town Center and then follow a course that loops around Fairway Hills Golf Club on Columbia Road, Clarksville Pike and Ten Mills Road to finish in front of Clyde's on Lake Kittamaqundi.

Explore Howard has provided a complete list of expected road closures from the Howard County Police Department. Some 2,000 runners are registered to take part in the race, organized by Howard County Striders.

Columbia Cleanup

A Columbia-wide cleanup will take place on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. During the event people will be cleaning up designated locations in all 10 Columbia villages, according to the Columbia Association.

The CA has asked residents interested in participating to contact their local Village Community Association to find out where to meet.
