Baltimore Orioles slugger Chris Davis is scheduled to appear in Columbia on Friday at the AT&T store in Dobbin Center.

Davis will be signing autographs from noon to 1 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. He will sign one autograph per person, according to the store’s manager. The first 200 people in line will be guaranteed an autograph, according to the Orioles community events page. The event is free and open to the public.

The AT&T store is located at 6940 Dobbin Center Way in Columbia. The Orioles play the Oakland Athletics at 7 p.m. on Friday at Camden Yards.

If you don’t have time to wait in what will likely be a line to see Davis, the Orioles pitcher Jason Hammel will appear in Laurel on Saturday.  Hammel will sign autographs in exchange for a $10 donation to Fidos for Freedom, a charity that provides service dogs to individuals with disabilities.

Hammel is scheduled to appear from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the charity’s offices at 1200 Sandy Spring Road in Laurel.

I'm detecting some sarcasm, but just in case you're not kidding, he's leading the major leagues in home runs right now with 45.

No sarcasm, I don't follow sports at all. Waste of time and money.

out of curiosity, if you don't follow sports, why read/comment on this article?

I leave lots of comments. Why would you create a new account just to leave that one?

He now has 46 homeruns! And for today everything was free. It was awesome. They supplied food and drinks while you waited.
