STEM Fun at the USA Science and Engineering Festival

St. Louis School, an X-STEM certified school, hosted a booth at the 3rd USA Science & Engineering Festival held at the convention center in Washington, D.C this past weekend. There were more than 1,000 of the world’s leading professional scientific and engineering societies, universities, government agencies, high tech corporations, STEM outreach and community organizations there with exciting exhibitions for children of all ages.

The student ambassadors explained and demonstrated projects that they had worked on for many months including but not limited to their LEGO robots, videogame designs and Stop Motion projects. The festival provided a venue for them to meet their peers and many adults who showed an interest in their work. A big thank you to the parents who volunteered to staff the booth and to the parents who brought their children to the festival to see and experience the many opportunities the festival provides.
