Farmers' Markets and light, earthy music just go together ...
Recently, two of our Howard County Farmers' Markets were privileged to serve as a venues for our locally grown and talented musicians.
The Howard County Farmers' Markets are outdoors and are, therefore, great venues for acoustic, non-amped music. We are looking for violinists, guitarists, flutists and others who can provide the low-key, smooth but "live" airy music that naturally goes with our farmers' market venues.
Musicians who perform do not receive compensation directly from the markets. In addition to tips, musicians are able to sell their music CDs and/or DVDs. And, of course, the musicians are able to see the market patrons stop, dance, smile and applaud . . .
