Host an Exchange Student (Columbia SC)

We are looking for volunteer families to open their hearts and homes to some great kids from abroad who want to experience real American life. Now placing for the '14-'15 school year. What better place than Columbia, SC? Friendly people, great schools, lots to do, and a supportive network of supervisors make Columbia, SC one of the best places for students to spend one or two semesters of their lives! And what the students bring to your family, school, and community is invaluable!

By hosting an international exchange student, you can truly change the world, one person, one family, one relationship at a time. You will gain a new understanding of another culture, and you'll make the American dream a reality for a teenager from abroad! You can select a student whose interests and activities match your own. All students are between 15 and 18 and come with their own spending money and insurance. Host families provide room, board, and a caring environment.
