Halloween Event for Grown-Ups

The First Annual Halloween Gala Spooktacular benefit for Linwood Center is set for Saturday, Oct. 26, from 7-11 p.m., at Hebron House, 2331 Calvin Circle in Ellicott City.

The Halloween-themed fundraiser will include entertainment by Cheeky Monkey Side Show and music by the Voodoo Yahoos, as well as a Tarot Card reader.  Food, wine and beer will be served. There will be a Mythical Monsters costume contest, door prizes and a raffle.

Proceeds will benefit Linwood Center, which provides services and programs for children and adults living with autism and related disabilities. Linwood recently opened a new 36,000 square foot school adjacent to its historic Manor House in Ellicott City this Fall.  With a capacity for 70 students, the school includes a non-graded Special Education Program for ages 5-21 and a General Education Program for students in kindergarten through 8th grade.
