Local Wilde Lake High School Senior, Miranda Judd, will perform at the Howard County Farmers' Market this coming Sunday, September 29th, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Oakland Mills Village Center. She will be performing again at the Saturday farmers' market at the Howard County Library's Glenwood Branch on October 12th and October 19th.

Miranda made her debut performance at the September 14th farmers' market and also performed last Sunday on September 22nd at Oakland Mills Village Center.  Miranda can easily belt out Patsy Cline's "Crazy" and Janis Joplin's "Bobby McGee" in addition to singing her own songs.

Miranda has been singing and playing guitar publicly since at least the age of nine. She has competed in three annual Columbia Association “Hear my Voice” competitions and have been a finalist each of those years.

Miranda's primary musical interest is in singing and playing guitar, both acoustic & electric. Her individual performance style is largely rooted in Country, Alternative, Classic and Light Rock and Pop genres.

Miranda has taken voice and guitar instruction for over eight years at the Columbia School of Music with owner/instructor Kurt Krenzischek. Additionally, she takes voice lessons at the School of Rock in Columbia and plays guitar and lead vocals in their top tier Performance Band.

Miranda greatly appreciates the support and encouragement of her parents, her brother and sister, her two dogs and her music teachers.
