We invite you to come on by and say “Hi!” to our farmers and producers this Thursday, June 20. They bring the season’s freshest, locally grown and/or produced fruits and vegetables, farm-raised meats, baked goods, flowers, transplants, organically grown produce and specialty items.  

Thursday Howard County Farmers' Market Farmers and Producers - Please note that the full list below includes what each farmer and/or producer will bring during the 2013 season. This list depends on the season (i.e., strawberry season, raspberry season, etc.).  Market Patrons should be able to find the 2013 Harvest Calendar on the back the Howard County Farmers' Market rack cards at the Howard County Library's Miller Branch.

  Fresh roasted coffees, herbal/regular tea blends. Handmade soaps and incense.

• Lewis Orchards, Cavetown, MD
  Strawberries, raspberries, cherries, blueberries, plums, apples, peaches, nectarines, pears, and cider

• Penn Farm, Colonial Beach, VA
  Asparagus, Tomatoes, Blackberries, Raspberries, Strawberries, Sweet Corn, Squash, Greens, Beets, Salad, Onions, Cucumbers, Peppers, Eggplant and more.

• Orchard Country Produce and Fruit Farm, Inc., Gardners, PA
  We sell fresh fruits and vegetables in season. We have a wide variety of unusual items as well as standard fruits and vegetables. We also raise many heirloom varieties of apples, tomatoes and melons.

• Renata's Tasty Bites,  Columbia, MD
  Renata bakes delicious homemade pastries, cookies, cakes, savory rolls and sweet breads. Some of her large variety includes: Scones, Sugar Free Pies, tarts, sweet rolls, linzer cookies, Gluten free almond cookies, crescents, coconut cookies, pecan bars, thumbprint cookies, Tomato Tarts, pesto rolls, cheese rolls, cherry pound cake, Jewish apple cake, walnut roll and more!

  Tomatoes Etc. Produce Farm grows a beautiful and healthy variety of baby salad greens, spinach, arugula and other oriental greens. We also grow everything from watermelons to baby squash and zucchini. We also produce and sell Grass-fed and Grain-fed certified Red Angus freezer beef.

  During the spring we offer a wide variety of potted annuals (including 'Proven Winners'), vegetable plants and herbs. We also grow perennials, hanging baskets and planters. Beginning in September we will offer pansies, mums, ornamental kale, cabbage, pumpkins and gourds.
