Maryland Wineries - Crow Vineyard and Linganore Winecellars - to Sell Wine at 2013 Howard County Farmers' Markets

Howard County, MD - The Howard County Farmers' Markets are pleased to welcome two additional wineries to sell wine at two of the Howard County Farmers' Markets.  Two Maryland wineries - Crow Vineyard and Winery and Linganore Winecellars - will join Elk Run Vineyards who started selling wine at the Howard County Farmers' Markets June 6.

Crow Vineyard and Winery, located in Kennedyville on Maryland's Eastern Shore, makes and sells Rosé, Chardonnay, Vidal Blanc and Sparkling Vidal Blanc.

"Amongst the variety of wines offered, such as Rosé and Chardonnay, Crow Vineyard’s most popular is the Vidal Blanc. Winner of a Maryland Governor’s Cup medal, this dry premium style wine is a signature of the winery," notes Hafsa Siddiqi of Maryland Life Magazine. "They also make a hand crafted sparkling Vidal Blanc, to add a little something extra to the popular wine."

To sustain their third-generation farm, Judy and Roy Crow, opened a farmstay Bed and Breakfast in their newly renovated 1847 farm house in 2010. The Crows also host wine dinners as well as weddings on their family's 365-acre farm where they also produce grass-fed beef.
