Spend all winter looking forward to the day you could buy locally grown fruits and vegetables at your area farmers’ market? Howard County Farmers' Markets will kick off on Wednesday, May 8, at the Howard County Library's Miller Branch.

Five Howard County Farmers' Market locations offer the season's freshest, locally grown produce, baked goods, fruits of the season, flowers plants, organically grown produce and specialty items:

  • Howard County Library – Miller Branch, 9421 Frederick Road, Ellicott City, 2 - 6 pm, Wednesdays, May 8 - Nov. 20
  • Howard County Library – East Columbia Branch, 6600 Cradlerock Way, Columbia, 2 - 6 pm, Thursdays, May 9 - Nov. 21
  • Howard County General Hospital, 5755 Cedar Lane, Columbia, 2 - 6 pm, Fridays, May 10 through Oct. 25
  • Howard County Library – Glenwood Branch, 2350 Route 97, Glenwood, 9 am - 12:30 pm, Saturdays, May 11 - Nov. 23
  • Oakland Mills Village Center, 5851 Robert Oliver Place, Columbia, 9 am - 1 pm, Sundays, May 12 - Nov. 24
