Protecting the safety of our children and families is a foremost priority of One-Howard-County. Consequently, after reviewing the weather forecast, in addition to the delays in opening schools and libraries today, we have decided to cancel tonight’s Family Night at the East Columbia branch of the Howard County Library System from 7 to 8 pm.
The forecast includes more rain tonight, on top of the sleet this morning. We encourage everyone who was planning on attending tonight to spend a nice family night at home, safe and sound. We look forward to having you at our next two One-Howard-County Family Nights on March 18, 2013 at the Miller Branch Library, 9421 Frederick Road,Ellicott City, MD 21042; and May 6, 2013 at the Savage Library, 9525 Durness Lane, Laurel, MD 20723. More About Howard County Library East Columbia Branch
Howard County Library East Columbia Branch is located just off of Cradlerock Way. Part of the Howard County Library system, the East Branch was founded in 1994 and offers an open floor plan, a children's rain forest walkway and a silent study room. There are also 60 computers on site with word processing and Internet capabilities that are available for public use.
