 rederick School Health Council findings from its School Health Index Ini
 tiative\, which surveys the status of policies and programs in schools.&
 nbsp\; Attendees are welcome to provide feedback for the development of 
 policy recommendations\, program content and metrics with which to monit
 or success here in Howard County.\nThe Howard County School Health Counc
 il is a state mandated advisory council combining representatives from t
 he School System\, the Health Department\, the PTA Council of Howard Cou
 nty and other community groups.&nbsp\; The Council is administered by re
 presentatives from these community organizations\, and reports to both t
 he Superintendent of Schools and the County Health Officer.&nbsp\; Gener
 al Council meetings are held every other month to review various health\
 , safety and wellness programs\, make recommendations and provide input.
