"How to Become a Cultivated Scholar in One Summer"

If you are looking for summer reading why not become a cultivated scholar in the process and obtain all the elements of a liberal education in one summer. Reading the Harvard Classics will do just that. Digital publisher "My Harvard Classics" based in Columbia MD has created a website that allows readers to quickly read the entire Harvard Classics Reading Guide in 90 days on a multimedia platform that makes it fun and engaging. The Harvard Classics will take the reader through the major points of a liberal arts university education all on their own. The reader will be able to speak intelligently on a wide range of topics impressing interviewers, colleagues and friends. Confidence and creativity will naturally follow.

The Harvard Classics are a collection of the greatest works of literature, philosophy, education, science, politics, religion, poetry and drama. The Harvard Classics were created by Harvard professor Charles Eliot in the early part of the 20th century to ensure that any person regardless of circumstance could obtain an education that was the equivalent of a general university or liberal education in one year. This education was originally designed to be able to fit in 51 Volumes on a five-foot bookshelf. It has been put together online by My Harvard Classics.
