Video of the Day: Trapeze Artists in Columbia
Cirque Carpe Diem was among the acts that entertained people at this year's LakeFest in Columbia.
Pottery and paintings weren't the only artforms on display at this year's LakeFest weekend–Cirque Carpe Diem put on a high-flying display of performance art.
According to the Columbia Festival of the Arts website, the group of acrobats hail from Montreal and have been awing audiences since 2006. The Columbia Festival will be holding events until June 30--see an events schedule here.

"It's a lot of chance - timing is everything in flying trapeze," Sara Deull, one of the performers, told Patch after one of the performances. "It takes a lot of focus and concentration and a lot of practice. You have to be the same every time you throw a trick to catch it."
