How about Howard County's VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) site? Free tax prep and filing by IRS certified volunteers for households earning less than $50,000!

Hey Michelle, thank you for posting about VITA, it's located in Laurel and you can find more information about it using this link - http://www.co.ho.md.us/vita.htm. However, we're only polling users about places in Columbia that prepare taxes. Do you know of any low-income tax help in Columbia? I'd be happy to add it to the list.
