Police: Man Robbed in Cheesecake Factory Bathroom

Two men reportedly stole the man's watch, cell phone and Nike shoes.

Howard County police report a man was robbed by two men inside the bathroom of the Cheesecake Factory on Wednesday afternoon.

Sometime between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, a man told police he walked into the bathroom at the restaurant at which time two men stole his watch, cell phone and Nike shoes.

Police have not made any arrests.

On Thursday, a police spokesperson said there was no mention of a weapon used in the alleged robbery and that only vague descriptions of the suspects were given. The spokesperson said there was also no video evidence of the possible suspects that could be released at this time.

The Cheesecake Factory is located at 10300 Little Patuxent Parkway adjoining the Mall in Columbia.

That's what I thought as well, but just because police didn't agree to release footage of possible suspects to the press, doesn't mean they don't have any.

Very fishy. According to sources a gun was used, money was taken, and FOAMPOSITE sneakers.I pray for others this holiday season. Should have been security and medal detectors.smh

Hmmm and when they catch these guys (that probably have a string of crimes under their belts) our wonderful bail commissioner(s) will let them go free. We just voted on standards for judges, shouldn't these goofs that have been letting violent criminals out on low bails have some background in criminal justice? Oh and once again thank you Ken Ulman for over developing our county without increasing our police force to match. This county is becoming the happy hunting grounds of all the criminal elements.
